The Feeding

Silvia knelt in front of the city, her mouth half open, still savoring her former gym partners. She took a long look at the city, weighing the possibilities. By then, most people would be aware of her presence, and she managed to notice some of the micro beings scrambling about, riding their vehicles as far as possible from her colossal form. 
She smiled at the notion, wondering how far could they get, when the entire city was within her reach. 
The tip of her tongue was cleaning her lips, savoring the coppery taste of human blood, humans she had consumed so easily just a few minutes ago. Why? Because she could. It hadn't been hard for her to realize she was now on top of many things, the city and the food chain included. She was still thinking of that when her stomach growled once more, a little louder this time. Probably the entire city was aware of her need for nutrients this time. 
Giggling, she extended her open hand towards the thickest group of people her eyes caught.
"COME HERE, YOU. TIME TO BE PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER."
The sounds of the terrified mob told her they weren't quite ready for it.
Like she cared at all.
